The Lost Giant by Ownly Penang

This exhibition is a tribute to the people of Penang, celebrating the collective spirit of those who call this island home. Penang is more than a retirement destination; it's a place to live, play, create, and inspire. Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak (KOMTAR), built in the late 80s, stands as an iconic yet abandoned symbol of Penang, earning the name 'THE LOST GIANT.' The island is renowned for its street food, hospitality, street art, and heritage, all within easy reach in its perpetual summer. However, amid these treasures, stories of shattered dreams prompt us to protect our home from becoming just another commercialized city.
