Life, Food & Health by Jet Leang Dance Theatre (JLDT) in collaboration with the renowned Penang Visual artist Bibichun is a theatrical performance piece that speaks about our current issues such as mental health and the stigma we live by. Revolution Of Our Times documents 2019 Hong Kong protest that’s against a proposed extradition legislation and Chinese authoritarian rule in general. It made its debut at #Cannes Film Festival in July 2021 and later got nominated at numerous international film festivals before winning The Best Documentary at Taiwan’s #GoldenHorseAwards in November 2021. Now, we finally get to watch the film right here in Malaysia! The director Kiwi Chow wishes to let the world know what’s REALLY going on in Hong Kong and happening to Hong Kongers during these times.

PenPlay Productions proudly presented their first show, "Adventures in the Elephant Kingdom," a musical based on Kangblabla's webcomic, "Aww... Sarabi! (@awwsarabi)." There were two sessions in a day. This show was supported by the Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA), and it represented a collaborative effort between Peny Chan, Vince de Leon, and Kangblabla.

A night of music descends upon Penang Island this 16th of September, as Uah Music Festival takes over Hin Bus Depot with a diverse line-up of bands ready to mesmerize and captivate. From post-rock to acoustic folk, more than 20 musical acts will entertain festival goers within Penang’s historical bus depot, now repurposed as a community hub for creative arts.
