Established in 2014 as the venue for Ernest Zacharevic's solo exhibition 'Art is Rubbish is Art,' Hin Bus Depot Gallery remains a creative hub for artists from around the world.
In this exhibition, the artist emotionally responds to the intricate beauty of the natural world, encompassing both the physical and spiritual dimensions. Some of her works delve into the microscopic realm, allowing cellular forms to influence their aesthetic. In others, she passionately conveys her impressions through deconstructed organic shapes inspired by her diverse background, which spans from Malaysian Indian heritage to a rural Australian upbringing. Influenced by indigenous Australian and modern Western abstract art from a young age, her creative journey is a fusion of these influences. Through this exhibition, the artist aims to bring joy and hope to viewers, celebrating life, experiences, and boundless possibilities.
