Established in 2014 as the venue for Ernest Zacharevic's solo exhibition 'Art is Rubbish is Art,' Hin Bus Depot Gallery remains a creative hub for artists from around the world.
RELATIONSHIFT is a contemporary exhibition featuring a diverse group of seven Malaysian creatives from various professions, ethnicities, and genders connected by urban culture, design, digital media, music, fashion, and art. This exhibition delves into the shifting dynamics of power and control in relationships, be they romantic or otherwise. The participating artists include Adam Kasturi, Bono Stellar, Fong Shelhiel, Khing Chuah, Sophia Kamal, William Sim, and Zulamran Hilmi.

What is a flea market to you? A place to browse for antiques, castaways, junk? One can stumble upon valuable items or experience a tinge of melancholy when encountering goods on the verge of obsolescence at flea markets. In Malaysia, these markets are akin to 'Thieves markets,' where lost and found objects are a common sight. These places offer a wealth of old items, and Howard Tan's debut solo exhibition, 'Found Things...,' showcases his experimental photographic recreations of flea market scenes and some of his personal discoveries from years of exploring such markets across the country.

This year's program includes masterclasses, projection nights, exhibitions, talks, and a photobook show held over two weeks. The festival's flagship feature is a series of 5-6 day intensive workshops led by renowned photographers like VII's Sim Chi Yin, Agence Vu's Ian Teh, dienacht publisher Calin Kruse, and a photobook masterclass with Teun Van Der Heijden and Sandra Doeleen.
