The diverse styles of street artists from across the world make an interesting view at the Different Strokes exhibition, organised by Graffiti Prints and Hin Bus Depot. 80 over pieces on display range from paintings to sculptures and are made with various media from spray paint to repurposed materials. 14 creative talents involved are Ernest Zacharevic (Lithuania), Sandra Chevrier (Canada), Icy and Sot (Iran/NYC), Mue Bon (Thailand), Martin Whatson (Norway), Beejoir (UK), Alexface (Thailand), Snik (UK), Nafir (Iran), Sabek (Spain), Levalet (France), Roamcouch (Japan), Gabriel Pitcher (UK).

Their thoughts and perceptions epitomize absolute purity, symbolizing the inception of a new life. This fragile innocence is gradually lost as we grow up. Through this exhibition, I aim to recapture and observe the world, now adulterated, through the eyes of an innocent child.

Urban Xchange (UX), Malaysia's unique street art festival, seamlessly united renowned international and local artists, pushing the creative boundaries of Penang. Organized by the Hin Bus Depot team, UX served as a bridge between George Town and Butterworth, young and traditional artists, Malaysians and international talents. This 2015 festival also featured a 4-story high light installation by local architect (Jun Ong), murals, sculptures, panel discussions, interactive video mapping, workshops, parties, and an artisan-focused exhibition. It provided profound insights into Penang's intricate cultural landscape while promoting public art and cultural exchange.

The symbol ♀️was first used as an element that represents the stigma of virgin females, however it is now being claimed by transgender activists. The ambiguity of the meaning as well as the sudden shift reminds one that gender roles are never fixed. Boundaries between sexes are fluid, constantly redefined by society and individual itself.
