Mercury is an all female artist exhibition that opens up discussion about creativity and gender. The symbol ♀️was first used as an element that represents the stigma of virgin females, however it is now being claimed by transgender activists. The ambiguity of the meaning as well as the sudden shift reminds one that gender roles are never fixed. Boundaries between sexes are fluid, constantly redefined by society and individual itself.
